Immune Aging and Your Telomeres

Stage 1: Telomeres

Stage 1: Telomeres

Telomeres are the end tips of chromosomes that protect the genetic material in our DNA. They get shorter and shorter by aging, and this leads to cellular aging. Every cell in our body has 92 telomeres and these are the direct indicators of biological aging very much related to your lifestyle, nutrition, exercise habits and stress levels.

Stage 2: Telomere Shortening

Stage 2: Telomere Shortening

Telomere shortening leads to all age-related diseases, including immune deficiency which is very important these days but also cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer's, diabetes and many others. This is mainly due to cellular aging by telomere shortening, and tissues and organs become older as well and do not function properly. The excellent news is that celluar aging is preventable and even reversible to some degree with consultation of your doctor.

Stage 3: Immunesnesence

Stage 3: Immunesnesence

In senecence mode, the telomeres are critically short while cells are still alive but not functioning properly but still consuming vital sources and causing toxicity at the same time.

Cellular aging causes to weaker immune systems which can lead to an increased susceptibility to infections and which accelerates the process of senescence. The immune system consists of immune organs, immune cells, and active immune substances and is associated with senescence. Immune cells include T lymphocytes, B lymphocytes, and Phagocytes,in which the number of lymphocytes is related to immune function.*

Stage 4: TA-65 May Improve Your Immune System

TA-65MD is an highly purified and bioactive astragallus extract which can maintain and even improve the immune system based on clinical studies.

TA-65MD has NPN (80092312) approved by Health Canada and is produced and sold in USA since 2007 with a GRAS** certificate of safety approved by an agency of U.S.A. F.D.A.

According to clinical studies*** conducted on TA-65MD, it is able to reduce the number of immunesenecent cells related to cell aging.

Immune System Improvement Summary

T lymphocytes are responsible for the cellular "adaptive" immune response in the body against foreign invaders. The strong proliferation response of antigen-specific T lymphocytes is critical to mounting a robust immune response against foreign material that the body has been exposed to in the past.

The mean increase in proliferative response for the product group at 24 weeks was about 53% over the baseline response.

NK (Natural Killer) cells are specialized lymphocytes belonging to the "innate immunity" arm of our immune system. These cells can immediately mount a killing response against specific tumor cells, foreign cells from infections, or cells infected with a foreign agent such as a virus, without having been previously exposed.

The TA-65 treatment group had an average increase in NK cell numbers of about 14% at 12 weeks, while the NK cell number in the placebo group dropped nearly -10% in the same time period.
